I love pancake day. Seriously seriously love it. In fact, I just love pancakes any day of the year. I cooked my housemate and I lots of them, paired with some delicious toppings. I really wanted maple syrup and strawberries but my local Sainsbury's didn't have any. Thus I decided to go for two kinds, the traditional lemon and sugar, which ultimately is my favourite, and then a more sickly choice of nutella, reeses pieces and marshmallows - the latter made me feel slightly sick, but I can eat over 15 lemon and sugar pancakes in one sitting. I know, I'm a fatty.

Lemon and sugar will always be the best however I also really like them with ice cream and fruit x
ReplyDeleteI had mine this year with cinamon and sugar - it was amazing! I keep meaning to try savoury pancakes and forgetting. I only managed three pancakes this year, what a fail!

ReplyDeleteLemon and sugar is the best but I am also very keen on nutella with just about anything, strawberries, bananas anything goes! Nutella with lemon is quite a good combo.
